If so, perhaps a health insurance plan that is compatible with a health savings account (HSA) is right for you.  These health plans are highly affordable and offer minimal preventative care.  They are perfect for a person who does not plan on regular visits to a health care provider.  These plans can be lower than $40 per month.

All you have to do is purchase one of these qualified health plans, then set up your HSA at the bank of your choice.  This account allows you to save tax-free dollars (up to a federally set limitation) which can be used for qualified medical expenses.  In addition to the tax deduction, the interest you earn in your HSA is tax deferred.  Some banks are offering a 5% interest rate!
